BioHacks 2021 is a virtual bioinformatics hackathon aiming to tackle epidemic health issues raised by COVID-19 through two interconnected streams:
-
Stream 1: Computational Methods against Diseases
-
Stream 2: Healthcare Tool Development
A variety of events will also be held throughout the two days for when you need a break from hacking, including seminars and workshops from professionals from the industry and academia while networking with like-minded students ready to take on this challenge!
Get together with a team of up to 4 people (teams will be formed for anyone who doesn't have a team) to develop computational biology skills and turn what you’ve learned to something you’re proud of!
We’ve also got cash prizes up for grabs for the top teams, thanks to our generous sponsors. Prize amounts will be announced during the event!

Any participants who have signed up for BioHacks 2021 are eligible to submit a project. Teams may consist of 1-4 members.
